Soltaro EV Charger
Supplies power to any electric vehicle with its Type 2 connector. The wall-mounted design is IP65 and its dust and waterproof housing makes the product suitable for outdoor or indoor spaces. The output of our EV charger ranges from 16amps to 32amps.
DLB (Dynamic Load Balancing) is available with the AC EV Charger for home use. When the EV charger is working with other household appliances at the same time, the DLB box can maintain the dynamic balance of the total household current and ensure the safety of electricity to avoid home over load.
Fill up your car at home
Use your Soltaro EV charger to power your car. Your charge rate will even increase when you use your excess solar. Designed and engineered in Australia, it comes as a single or three phase option with a 3 year warranty as standard. Type 2 connector with three charging modes ready to get you powered and ready to go.
Charging at home is a super convenient way to keep your electric vehicle topped up. Households with Solar, and/or battery systems can take full advantage of energy production and storage by charging electric vehicles with solar throughout the day, or by using stored solar power through the night.
Arranging your EV Charger install is simple.
Before your installation, we need to know about your home, existing electrical set-up and check to see if you’re eligible for any grants. Our trained surveyor* will visit your property to make sure we get all the right information without you having to do anything yourself. We can be with you any time, any where (providing you give us 3 days notice and its within normal business hours). We’ll make sure everything is ready for our technical team to confirm whether you have a standard installation or if any further upgrades/components are required. *Note that this team is non-technical and will not be able to advise on cable routes and answer questions regarding your electrical infrastructure |  |
In less than 2 working days the results of your survey will have been reviewed by our technical team who will guide you through the next steps. We want you to have a smooth installation journey with us so we will let you know as soon as possible whether any upgrades or additional components are required – this ensures there are no surprise costs during the installation. We’ll also get in touch with your Distribution Network Operator (DNO) as soon as possible to gain any required approvals. We’ll make sure that we’ve answered any questions you have on the process or the paperwork in plenty of time to not delay your installation going ahead. As soon as all approvals are in place, we will aim to get you booked in around 2 weeks’ time. |  |

We provide additional training on each home charger to make sure your experience with Plug Me In is as smooth as possible, right from arriving at your property through to your first charge. We aim to be done in 3-4 hours. Our team make sure you’re all set up on the specific manufacturer’s app, and we give you a short demonstration of how to use it, whilst checking you’re happy and understand how to get the most out of your EV charger before we head off. | |
